Who am I

                                                             Who am I?

It is a very important question and one must ask and try to understand. But it is not simple to unravel mystery of “I”. Right from the beginning of life, when one starts understanding, one keeps on getting different recognition/distinctions – He is son/daughter of such and such person; he is topper in the class; he is a singer; an IAS; a doctor….., there is no end to it. And it goes on and on throughout the life. This is called conditioning or layering. And one gets so many layers that he is unable to see his own realty. Awareness of this condition can lead to understanding of oneself.

  1. You are right Arvind. An individual is so much engrossed in these layers that he forget what he really is. As per Bhagwat Geeta also you are no body to say 'I'. If one understands these realities of life then he is relieved of the life's miseries as well.
